Summer Adventure 2006

August 2^nd, 2006:

When we awoke at our campground on Great Salt Lake, the wind was howling

and the rain was pelting the motorhome. We drove into town where we could get

internet access, and checked the weather forecast for Yellowstone National Park,

300 miles north of us. Predicted low for Yellowstone tonight was 39 degrees.

We drove 300 miles south instead, to Zion National Park in southern Utah. Yellowstone

would have been nice, but no one was sorry once we got here. It is beautiful.

Chris went for a ride on Joe’s bike. Within 30 minutes he was

walking it back with two flat tires. Lots of this around:
