Summer Adventure 2006

August 15^th, 2006:

Having escaped from Yellowstone, we moved on down to Grand Teton National Park.

This place makes the scenery in Yellowstone pale by comparison. These mountains are HUGE!

There was a fire burning 30 miles away and the smoke hung in the valley

early in the morning, making it look like the mountains rose from the mist…

Next day, our last in Jackson Hole, we went white water rafting down the Snake River:

That’s it for now. Just a couple more days with Jeff before he flies home to NH.
