September 13^th, 2006:

Outside of Silverton, Colorado we drive up into the hills for a tour of the Old Hundred gold mine.

Our guide is “Dan”:

We get suited-up…

Board the tram…

And travel 1,700 feet into the mountain.

Back outside, we get to pan for gold and silver ourselves:

And keep what we find! Here it is…
