September 16^th, 2006:

On the drive north towards Vail, the fall colors are beautiful:

The next day though, this is what we encounter:

Two inches of snow. Winter has arrived!

We are back in Vail Village for Oktoberfest.

There’s beer & bratwurst…

And turkey legs of course:

We should have brought the skis and snowboards:

It won’t last though. That’s what we’re being told. We’ll let you know.
