History:
Born 1958, raised in Rhode Island. Attended University of New Hampshire, graduated 1981. Holds Bachelors Degree in Business Administration. Computer software developer 1982-1994. Began tournament fishing 1983, turned professional 1995.
Lifestyle:
Remarried in 1997. Along with wife Annie and Cocker Spaniel "Cooper Dog", lives full-time in a motorhome and travels approximately 40,000 miles and through 30 states per year to compete in fishing tournaments and promote sponsor products.
Tournament Trails:
WalMart FLW Tour, EverStart Tournament Trail, and B.A.S.S. Invitationals. Also some WalMart BFL tournaments, and local New England events, as schedule permits.
Accomplishments:
  • Member of the inaugural year-2000 CITGO Pro Bass Fishing Team.
  • Featured in a series of seven television commercials for CITGO motor oil.
  • Author & creator of ESPN’s "Life On Tour" journal - an ongoing Internet publication with worldwide readership.
  • Responsible for design, content, HTML coding & ongoing maintenance of Internet website www.DanielKeyes.com.
  • Competed in B.A.S.S. Federation state team qualifying event 12 years straight.
  • Angler of the Year for Manchester Bass Club, two years straight.
  • B.A.S.S. Federation Eastern Divisional tournament qualifier.
  • American Bass Association National Team Tournament qualifier.
  • Active in local bass club and state federation for 12 years.
  • Past officer of the New Hampshire B.A.S.S. Federation.
  • Past officer and president of the Manchester Bass Club.
  • Teacher/demonstrator in both local and state Casting Kids competitions.
